Heat is on!!

As we enter into the final phase of the fourth semester ,everything is heating up.Even the weather has heated up in the past 10 days.Students are running after profs nudging them for summer projects though they still maintain clean attendance in the classes[:P].The sem has been a hectic one with one of the two dept. courses being pretty tough as to understand let alone answer the questions.God knows how 'm gonna do well in the end-sems. I've been hinging my hopes on a decent performance in this semester and desperate to perform well.May I be blessed with the courage and patience to tackle the tricky situations taht I'm gonna be up against in the near future!!

well, well,well ...some one i think has correctly said that history repeats itself and after a sunrise there is always a sunset , so on and so forth...yeah..pretty much correct ..first mid-semester has left some sweet memories coupled with odd hiccups..never mind..nevertheless it was quite a decent performance and has once again reiterated the fact that there is no substitute for putting in effort..after some time it was a nice feeling to be back among marks and grades..yeah quite correctly,history repeats itself..

Now the moment i have been waiting for quite a while has probably arrived in the form of the first mid-semester examinations.This might sound weird but this is a fact having appeared for all the examinations in the previous semesters under prepared (pardon me if there's a grammatical error in this word) and with an astonishingly low attendance,I was caught off-guard.Having attended the classes at a reasonable rate and having followed the proceedings carefully ,I see no reason why i should not hinge my hopes upon this examination.Yes, probably I might be a bit rusty to start with but I think it won't be too long before getting settled into the groove. It remains to be seen how the outcome would be.

back to business...

here goes my first blog in the year 2007..the resolutions for this year(taken because of the new semester rather) consist of some really simple and trivial things as they appear like attending all the classes and try and put in a decent effort..on the whole a single point agenda is on cards urging to get "back to business"..

adieu 2006..

aah..here ends 2006..a rather calm one ..it was a different one from the previous year i.e, 2005..it reminded me of mortality and that a nadir of failure is always in the vicinity once you have reached the zenith of success...but undoubtedly past one year has been a learning experience in itself...it for sure helped me to toughen myself up and most importantly i have learnt to say no to certain things and be selective about the things i wanted to do...thus helping myself to be more focused and get ready to face new hurdles..but successive failures tend to make a person short on confidence but the strength of a string is known only when it is stretched to the fullest..2006 will go down as an year which is quite special because of all the things it had given me..

welcome to another semester

well, already three semesters of life in cse@iitk has passed in what seems to me like a few seconds..i didn't even have faintest of ideas that time is indeed passing with an impeccable velocity.at this point of time having looked back at the past year and a half i can say that this has easily been the hardest time i had to face in my small little journey to date ..rather it'd be better to put it this way that I'm the only person responsible for the sorry state of affairs in which I've managed to land myself in..
well, where is this journey leading to?will it be another long known story of the protagonist falling prey to the praises after a few initial successes and unable to live up to the increased expectations or will it be a saga of miraculous redemption and a return to form? there are aspirations n hopes that they'd b achieved..amidst all these feelings the time has come to show off one's mental as well as physical toughness over a period of next four and a half months during the demanding curriculum of iit kanpur .. we shall wait n see what is in store for us at the end of it..a repetition of unfulfilled aspiration or a grand return ..welcome to another semester...
